Eucharist

I’ve been working on a new linocut that is the result of the series of drawings I started after my Dad died. I haven’t worked on any prints since The Home Economy was finished back in October. Again, that was before my Dad died. So it’s been good to get back to cutting linoleum. I’ve missed it.

Doesn’t that look nice?

The plan from here is to print this block after New Year’s and get to work on some reduction linocuts. A student of mine just knocked her first reduction linocut out of the park and it’s rekindled an old desire of mine to work on some of those myself. Right now I’m trying to decide if I want to do something completely different, or turn an old watercolor into a print. I’ll have to dig into the flat files to see what I can find. I’ll keep you posted.
